Mario’s love and appreciation of art was instilled in him from his earliest steps. His father, Supriadi, is a painter and his mother is a make-up artist who specializes in creating traditional Balinese wedding beauty.
Mario first became involved in photography in 2000. His first camera was a Nikon FM10 hand-me-down from his father. Developing his skills with film, he joined Bengkel Fotografi Yogyakarta (the Yogyakarta Photography Garage) while studying for his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
This hobby quickly became an obsession and Mario found his first job in the industry with Yogyakarta’s first digital photography center, Calista, in 2003.
After graduating from university, Mario returned to Bali and discovered that his home in Ubud was indeed the perfect atmosphere to continue to develop his skills and sense of photographic art. He finally decided to concentrate completely on this passion by opening Aditi Niranjan Photography Service. Mario shoots with Nikon D200 and D70 cameras. He uses a modified Nikon D100 and Sony F828 to shoot infrared.
